Don't cry for me daddy!

I found this today and it made me cry. I don't know who wrote it, but this is a very inspirational very touching poem that reminds us that just because our little ones may be gone, we have not forgotten them and they will never forget us. This was written for dads but it is just as applicable for moms as well. Miscarriage, Stillborn, and infant death affects everyone, and this can help anyone who is dealing with any of these sad moments. 


Don’t cry for me daddy,
I am right here.
Although you cant see me,
I can see your tears.
I visit you often,
go to work
with you each day.
And when it’s time too close your eyes,...
On your pillow is where I lay.
I hold your hand and stroke your hair,
And whisper in your ear,
If your sad today daddy,
remember I am here.
God took me home,
this we know is true,
But you will always be my daddy,
Even though I’m not with you,
I am daddy’s little girl.
We will never be apart,
For every time you think of me,
Please know I am in your heart

Mommy, you are never alone.
I know your your heart aches, and your arms are empty,
But mommy, you are never alone.
Soon I departed up above and became an angel of the Lord.
Since early time I felt your warmth, I heard your voice, I felt your heart,
I could always feel your love and I knew I was never alone.
I am there when you wake up, as a ray of sunshine is my love. 
I know you wish I was still here.
But feel my love, I am right here.
When the night comes up it’s by your side I lay and rest,
I stroke your hair and cuddle near your chest.
But mommy don’t be sad.
I am with you in every step you take.
Don’t be sad mommy dear,

Hannah's 1st Christmas Letter

Dear Hannah,

It is December 24, 2011. Mummy and daddy miss you so much. We wish you were here to open presents but we know you are at a birthday party for Jesus. Mummy has mad alot of friends in these almost 4 months since you have been gone. They are all other mummy's and daddy's of angels. They are helping me out alot baby girl.

I do miss you alot but you always show me signs of being here. I watched the ladybug you sent us, I was scared it would fly away. And when you make the clock sway! We love seeing your wonderful gifts.

Did you like your ornaments this year? I hope so. You are and always be our perfect little angel!

Letter from Hannah!

A Letter From Heaven

To my dearest family, some things I'd like to say.
But first of all, to let you know, that I arrived okay.

I'm writing this from heaven. Here I dwell with God above.
Here, there's no more tears of sadness; Here is just eternal love.

Please do not be unhappy just because I'm out of sight.
Remember that I am with you every morning, noon and night.

That day I had to leave you when my life on earth was through.
God picked me up and hugged me and He said, "I welcome you."

"It's good to have you back again, you were missed while you were gone.
As for your dearest family, They'll be here later on.

I need you here so badly, you are part of my plan.
There is so much that we can do, to help our mortal man."

God gave me a list of things, that he wished for me to do.
And foremost on the list, was to watch and care for you.

And when you lie in bed at night the day's chores put to flight.
God and I are closest to you.... in the middle of the night.

When you think of my life on earth, and all those loving years.
Because you are only human, they are bound to bring you tears.

But do not be afraid to cry; it does relieve the pain.
Remember there would be no flowers, unless there was some rain.

I wish that I could tell you all that God has planned.
If I were to tell you, you wouldn't understand.

But one thing is for certain, though my life on earth is over.
I'm closer to you now, than I ever was before.

There are rocky roads ahead of you and many hills to climb;
But together we can do it by taking one day at a time.

It was always my philosophy and I'd like it for you too;
That as you give unto the world, the world will give to you.

If you can help somebody who is in sorrow and pain;
Then you can say to God at night...."My day was not in vain.

And now I am contented... that my life was worthwhile.
Knowing as I passed along the way I made somebody smile."

So if you meet somebody who is sad and low;
Just lend a hand to pick them up, as on your way you go.

When you're walking down the street and you've got me on your mind;
I'm walking in your footsteps only half a step behind.

And when it's time for you to go.... from that body to be free.
Remember you're not going.... you're coming here with me.

Please don't tell me to be strong
To be wise and stand up tall
Please don't urge me to move on
Don't treat me as if I am a pawn.

I'm not heartless, callous and cold;
I'm not brave nor very bold
I'm not as tough as I need to be
So understand, that's just not me!

It's not advice I seek from you
Just stand by me; let me work it through
And though I fight daily to stay alive
With family and friends I will survive.

Don't be so eager to be my judge
Unless you have walked in my shoes!
And though I don't hold a grudge
I'm still battered and bruised.
